West Deptford Wrestling Strong in Polls, But Power Points a Mystery

The Eagles remain one of the top teams in South Jersey, Group 2.

With the wins continuing to roll in, including big victories over and this past week, 's wrestlers are holding strong as the consensus No. 2 in South Jersey, Group 2, and remain a top-five team overall.

The power-points standings are a different story.

According to the latest standings released midweek, the Eagles have fallen to sixth place in South Jersey, Group 2–but despite being undefeated when the rankings were calculated, West Deptford is listed as 7-2.

The two phantom losses drop the Eagles from 26 points in the previous ranking down to 24.56; otherwise, it's unlikely West Deptford would've been any lower than tied for fourth.

New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association (NJSIAA) officials weren't immediately available for comment on the apparent error.
