2 Unlocked Cars Stolen In Westfield
Both vehicles were parked in the driveway and left unlocked with the keys inside, police report.

WESTFIELD, NJ — Two cars left unlocked with the keys inside were stolen in Westfield and another was burglarized, police report.
On March 23 at 5:55 a.m.: A resident in the 200 block of Sunset Avenue reported the theft of a 2017 BMW from their driveway between 9:30 p.m. on March 22 and 5:55 a.m. on March 23. The car was parked unlocked with the key inside at the time of the theft. It was later found in Newark four hours after the theft.
On March 24 at 7:52 a.m.: A resident in the 400 block of Saint Marks Avenue reported the theft of a 2014 Honda Odyssey from their driveway between 9:30 p.m. on March 22 and 7:52 a.m. on March 23. The vehicle was parked in the driveway unlocked with the keys inside.

A resident of the 300 block of Landsdowne Avenue also reports being the victim of a burglary to a motor vehicle and a theft on March 17 at 9 a.m. Between 4:30 p.m. on March 16 and 9 a.m. on March 17 someone entered her vehicle and removed $260 worth of items. Victim was unsure if the vehicle was locked at the time of the burglary.

On March 13 at 7:49 p.m.: Maurice Boyd, 46, of Somerset was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Westfield for $500. He was also found to have a no bail warrant from Union County Sheriff's Department. He was processed and transported to Union County Jail.
On March 15 at 6:42 p.m.: Marion Bethea, 56, of Roselle was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Columbia for $500 following a traffic stop. She was processed and released on her own recognizance.
On March 16 at 11:16 a.m.: Blas Barquin, 34, of Cranford was arrested on two outstanding warrants out of Westfield and Cranford following a traffic stop. She was transported to headquarters, processed and released after posting $500.
On March 17 at 12:04 p.m.: Bryal Williams, 21, of South Orange was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Irvington for $150 following a traffic stop. He was transported to headquarters, processed and released after posting bail.
On March 17 at 12:04 p.m.: Kwadwo Frimpong, 22, of Maplewood was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Bloomfield for $358 following a traffic stop. He was transported to headquarters, processed and released after posting bail.
On March 18 at 10:40 p.m.: Marino Garcia, 25, of Lyndhurst was arrested for possession of marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia following an investigation in the 900 block of Everetts Avenue. He was transported to headquarters, processed and released.
On March 18 at 5:52 a.m.: Jeffrey Pate, 31, of Westfield was arrested for driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle crash on the 1000 block of Rahway Avenue. He was transported to headquarters, processed and released to a sober adult.
On March 18 at 12:51 p.m.: A business on the 200 block of E. Broad Street reported a shoplifting of 46 items totaling $2,003.70.
On March 19 at 10:47 p.m.: Kevin Johnson, 46, of Springfield was arrested for having an outstanding warrant out of Union Township for $250 following a traffic stop. He was transported to headquarters, processed and released.
