226 Customers Still Without Power In Union County Following Storm
More than 200 Union County customers of PSEG and JCPL are still without power on Tuesday following a severe thunderstorm

UNION COUNTY, NJ — Residents across Union County are waking up to no power Tuesday morning after a severe thunderstorm swept through the area Monday night.
PSE&G is reporting 221 residents and JCP&L is reported fewer than 5 residents in Union County are still without power as of Tuesday.

- Linden: 16
- Plainfield: Fewer than 5
- Rahway: 92
- Scotch Plains: Fewer than 5

JCP&L customers without power:
- Berkeley Heights: Fewer than 5
- Springfield: Fewer than 5

Steer clear of downed power lines. Always assume they are live and dangerous. Report downed lines immediately to 888-544-4877.
For PSE&G customers:
During a post-storm, large outage event, PSE&G call centers can become taxed, so customers are encouraged to report outages by logging on to My Account on www.pseg.com, or texting “OUT” to 4PSEG.
Of course, customers also have the option of PSE&G’s Customer Service line at 1-800-436-PSEG.
