WESTFIELD, NJ — Three people were injured and taken to a hospital after a driver lost control of his vehicle, jumped a curb in Westfield, and drove over another car, said Westfield Police Chief Christopher Battiloro.
On Friday at 12:22 p.m., a 76-year-old male driver apparently lost control of his vehicle while parking in Lot 5 directly behind Starbucks, said Battiloro.
"He apparently accelerated into and over a curb median, sticking and driving over a sign standard, and then up and over an unoccupied vehicle parked on the opposite side of the curb median," said Battiloro.
