$3K Diamond Earrings Stolen From Westfield Home
Criminal mischief was also reported to 2 cars in town including a rock being thrown through a window and damaged paint by a liquid.

WESTFIELD, NJ — Home burglary, theft, shoplifting, criminal mischief and more were reported in Westfield including the theft of a $3,000 pair of earrings.
On April 28 at 8:18 p.m., a resident of the 400 block of Summit Avenue reported being the victim of a theft.
The homeowner's diamond hoop earrings valued at $3,000 were stolen from her home between March 16 and April 27. Also stolen was her safety deposit key.

On April 20 at 1:39 p.m.: A business in the 200 block of West South Avenue reported being the victim of shoplifting. An unknown woman entered the store between 12:41 and 12:50 p.m. and stole between $50 to $100 worth of merchandise.

On April 21 at 7:16 p.m.: A business located in the 400 block of West South Avenue reported being the victim of theft. The owner said someone stole $500 from the cash register.
On April 21 at 7:17 p.m.: A resident of the 800 block of Lenape Trail reported being the victim of identity theft. On March 30 someone used his personal information to apply for a credit card account. The application was denied and the victim did not suffer any monetary loss.
On April 21 at 7:21 p.m.: A resident of the 800 block of Lenape Trail reported being the victim of fraud and identity theft. On March 27 someone made a $668.27 fraudulent transaction using her credit card account. On April 2, someone also opened a credit card account using her information.
On April 22 at 6:30 p.m.: A resident from the 300 block of Park Street reports being the victim of a theft. Someone stole two chains worth $300.
On April 25 at 5:45 p.m.: Tyler Rocha, 20, of Westfield was arrested on an outstanding Sussex County Sheriff's Office no bail warrant following an investigation in the 200 block of South Avenue West. He was transported to headquarters, processed and turned over to Sussex County Sheriff's Office.
On April 25 at 10:03 p.m.: Britanie McDonald-Penaman, 25, of Plainfield and Courtney Sebas, 24, of Plainfield were arrested for possession of marijuana under 50 grams following a traffic stop in the area of South Avenue and Crossway Avenue. They were transported to headquarters, processed and released on summonses.
On April 26 at 11:39 a.m.: A resident of the 800 block of Forrest Avenue reported being the victim of criminal mischief. The victim reported that between April 24 and April 25 someone placed an unknown liquid on their motor vehicle which damaged the paint. The cost of the damage is unknown at this time.
On April 27 at 9:24 a.m.: A business in the 200 block of West South Avenue reported they were the victims of shoplifting. A man concealed store items on himself and then left without paying. By the time police arrived the man was gone. The total value of the theft was $205.54.
On April 27 at 9:57 p.m.: A resident in the 200 block of Lenox Avenue reports being the victim of criminal mischief to his vehicle that was parked outside of his home between 9 and 9:57 p.m. It appears someone threw a rock through his rear windshield.
On April 28 at 12:18 a.m.: A resident of the 800 block of Grandview Avenue reports being the victim of a burglary to her home sometime between 2 p.m. and midnight. Someone entered through the front door.
On April 29 at 9:50 a.m.: A business located at the 200 block of South Avenue West reported they were the victims of a shoplifting. The man hid store items worth $14.49 on himself and then left without paying. By the time police arrived the man was gone.
