5 Westfield Locals Arrested For DWI, Drug Possession, Warrants

A total of 5 Westfield locals were arrested on charges including driving while intoxicated, drug possession and outstanding warrants.

WESTFIELD, NJ — A total of five Westfield locals were arrested on charges including driving while intoxicated, drug possession and outstanding warrants, according to the police blotter.

On May 30 at 5:13 p.m.: John Killoran, 50, of Westfield was arrested for driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop. He was transported to headquarters, processed and released to a sober adult.

On June 1 at 5:41 p.m.: Thomas Macken, 24, of Westfield was arrested for driving while under the influence following a traffic stop. He was also found to have two outstanding warrants out of Westfield for $500 and Clark for $500. He was transported to headquarters, processed and held in lieu of bail.

On June 3 at 12:28 a.m.: Triston Orr, 20, of Westfield was arrested for possession of controlled dangerous substance(CDS) and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop. He was transported to headquarters, processed and released on summonses.

On June 3 at 12:28 a.m.: William Hammer, 20, of Westfield was arrested for possession of CDS and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop. He was transported to headquarters, processed and released on summonses.

On June 4 at 4:59 p.m.: Brenda Peterway, 53, of Westfield was arrested on three outstanding criminal warrants out following a criminal investigation in the 200 block of West South Avenue. Two outstanding warrants were out of Plainsboro for $329 and $363 and Elizabeth for $250. She was transported to headquarters, processed and turned over to Plainsboro Police.

On May 19 at 5:31 p.m.: Arnold May, 53, of Piscataway was arrested on three outstanding warrants following a motor vehicle stop in the area of West South Avenue and West Broad Street. May had a traffic warrant out of Piscataway for $750 and two criminal warrants out of Nw Brunswick for $350 and South Brunswick for $500. He was transported to headquarters, processed and released after posting bail.

On May 19 at 11:26 p.m.: John Maple, 29, of Rahway was arrested for driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop in the area of Central Avenue and Greene Place. He was transported to headquarters, processed and released to a sober adult.

On May 21 at 9:15 p.m.: Khail Edwards, 24, of Cranford on outstanding traffic warrant out of South Plainfield for $421 following a traffic stop in the area of East South Avenue and Windsor Avenue. He was transported to headquarters, processed and released on his own recognizance.

On May 26 at 11:44 p.m.: James M. Cypher, 63, of Oakland was arrested for driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle investigation in the area of 425 East Broad St. He was transported to headquarters, processed and released after sobering up.

On May 26 at 2:18 a.m.: Matthew J. Misiuk, 29, of Kenilworth was arrested on an outstanding traffic warrant out of Westfield for $1,000. He was transported to headquarters, processed and held in lieu of bail.

On May 29 at 1:29 a.m.: Don V. Edwards, 52, of Plainfield was arrested for driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop in the area of the 600 block of West South Avenue. He was transported to headquarters, processed and released to sober adult.

On May 27 at 6:53 p.m.: A resident of the 700 block of Fairacres Avenue reported illegal dumping in the area of South Chestnut Street and Fourth Avenue. Someone dumped numerous trash bags into the dumpster without permission.

On May 27 at 7:45 p.m.: Marc Raynor, 30, of Roselle Park was arrested on an outstanding no bail Union County Sheriff’s Office warrant following a motor vehicle stop in the area of Sycamore Street and Irvington Avenue. He was transported to headquarters, processed and later transported to Union County Jail.

On May 28 at 10:17 p.m.: Christopher Colon, 18, of Elizabeth was arrested for possession of controlled dangerous substance(CDS) under 50 grams following a motor vehicle stop in the area of East South Avenue and Windsor Avenue. He was also found to have an active no bail warrant out of Union County Sheriff’s Office. He was transported to headquarters, processed and placed in a cell to await pick up by UCSO.

On May 29 at 12:13 a.m.: Gustavd Mosque, 38, of North Plainfield was arrested for having an outstanding warrant out of Westfield for $500 and a warrant out of Plainfield for $250. He was transported to headquarters, processed and released after posting full bail.

On June 4 at 10:11 p.m.: Cinthia Burgos, 31, of Rahway for theft of movable property following a motor vehicle investigation in the 100 block of East Broad Street. She surrendered herself to headquarters, was processed and released on summonses.
