6 Cars, 1 Home Burglarized In Westfield
A dine-and-dash was also reported in the township where the patron ordered and ate food and drinks and left without paying.

WESTFIELD, NJ — Westfield Police reported six car and one home burglary in the township recently, according to the police blotter.
Westfield Police Blotter:
On April 2 at 1:58 p.m.: A resident of the 800 block of Boulevard reported being the victim of identity theft. Victim states that someone used her information to purchase items and generate an account.

On April 4 at 1 p.m.: Rainiel Pena Pimentel, 26, of Hempstead, New York was arrested for an outstanding warrant out of Westfield for $273 following a motor vehicle stop on Lawrence Avenue near Barchester Way. He was transported to headquarters, processed and released after posting bail.
On April 5 at 3:04 p.m.: Raziel Mancebo, 24, of Scotch Plains was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Fanwood for $250 following a traffic stop. He was transported to headquarters, processed and released after posting bail.

On April 6 at 7:33 a.m.: A resident from the 900 block of Summit Avenue reported a burglary and theft from their motor vehicle while it was parked and unlocked in their driveway between 8 p.m. pm April 5 and 7:33 a.m. on April 6. Approximately $3 in change was reported stolen.
On April 6 at 8:03 a.m.: A resident from the 900 block of Summit Avenue reported a burglary and theft from two of their vehicles between 8 p.m. pm April 5 and 7:33 a.m. on April 6.. One car was parked in the driveway and another parked in the street and both unlocked. Approximately $10 in change was reported stolen.
On April 6 at 3:17 p.m.: A resident from the 800 block of Summit Avenue reported a burglary and theft from their vehicle while parked in the driveway and unlocked between 8 p.m. pm April 5 and 3:17 p.m. on April 6. Approximately $5 in change and $5 in gift cards were reported stolen.
On April 6 at 6:42 p.m.: Terrell Curry, 24, of Newark was arrested for shoplifting and obstruction of justice from an establishment in the 300 block of E. South Avenue. He was processed and released on a summonses.
On April 6 at 8:22 p.m.: Kaja Brown, 22, of Newark was arrested for having a warrant out of Riverside Municipal Court. She was also found to be possession of a controlled dangerous substance(CDS). She was processed, issued a summonses and released on her own recognizance.
On April 8 at 12 p.m.: A resident in the 70 block of Genesee Trail reported a burglary and theft from their vehicle while it was parked and unlocked in their driveway between April 6 at 6 p.m. and April 8 at noon. A Samsung cell phone valued at $200 was reported stolen.
On April 10 at 12:22 p.m.: Management of a restaurant on Elm Street reported the theft of service. Management reported that on April 9 a patron ordered and consumed food and beverages then left the restaurant without paying. Amount of theft is $116.50 in value.
On April 9 at 5:33 p.m.: A resident in the 100 block of North Cottage Road reported being the victim of a burglary to their motor vehicle parked in the driveway unlocked between April 6 at 4 p.m. and April 9 at 1 p.m. The victim noticed the glove compartment and center console was open. Total amount of items stolen was $150.
On April 13 at 9:50 p.m.: A resident from the 400 block of Jefferson Avenue reported being the victim of a burglary. Someone gained entrance to the home and unknown items were missing.
