A Song for Peace at The Christopher Academy
The school observes its yearly tradition as they join other schools and organizations and around the world on this day commemorating and strengthening the ideals of peace.
Today, The Christopher Academy in Westfield and Scotch Plains joined together to sing a song for peace by their Peace Pole in front of both campus building.
The school has made this event a yearly tradition as they join other schools and organizations and around the world on this day commemorating and strengthening the ideals of peace both within and among all nations and peoples.
“Peace is an integral part of the Montessori curriculum and our school is devoted to strengthen the ideals of peace within our school as well as sending our message beyond the community whilst joining this worldwide event,” said Henriette Petersen, Director of Operations at Christopher Academy.

The mission of Christopher Academy is to support the full development of the child by serving individual needs, fostering independence and protecting the social consciousness within an environment that celebrates a love of learning.
