• Police Situation Resolved In Westfield After Residents Asked To Remain Indoors (patch.com) — Westfield residents near Sandra Court and West Court were briefly urged to stay indoors Tuesday evening due to police activity, but authorities now say the situation is resolved and normal routines can resume. Police first alerted the public shortly after 6 p.m., then lifted the advisory around 7:27 p.m., thanking neighbors for their cooperation while details are still forthcoming.    

• Westfield Tennis Teams To Host Play It Forward Fundraiser 2026 At Tamaques Park (patch.com) — Westfield High School’s boys and girls varsity tennis teams are inviting the community to their fifth annual Play It Forward doubles fundraiser at Tamaques Park on June 12, with a rain date of June 19. The event supports Imagine: A Center for Coping with Loss, and residents can donate in person or in advance via cash, check, or Venmo.    

• Florham Park Among Fourteen New Jersey Communities Unite to Launch 'Paint the Town Green' Mental Health Awareness Campaign (tapinto.net) — Westfield is joining thirteen nearby towns this May for the second annual “Paint the Town Green” mental health awareness campaign, bringing visible green displays, school programs, and community events to local streets. Residents can get involved by attending activities, displaying yard signs or green light bulbs, and connecting with shared resources coordinated by the New Jersey Cross-Town Mental Health Coalition.
