WESTFIELD, NJ — A Westfield resident reported an unrecognized credit card charge of nearly $1,900, according to police.

The resident told police a charge for a computer tablet totaling $1,899.99 appeared on their credit card.

Police said the charge was identified as unauthorized before any financial loss occurred.
