Fairview Cemetery Announces Executive Director

The Board of Trustees of Fairview Cemetery is pleased to announce the appointment of Laura Mann Skrabal as Executive Director, ushering in a new era for the historically significant 105-acre cemetery and cornerstone of the community.

Ms. Skrabal brings more than fifteen years of experience in the funeral service profession, along with a strong background in leadership, operations, and community engagement. She will oversee the daily operations, administration, maintenance, and long-range planning of the cemetery, ensuring that Fairview continues to uphold the high standards of care and service for which it is known.

Prior to joining Fairview Cemetery, Ms. Skrabal served as Executive Director of Memorial Funeral Home in Fanwood and Dooley Colonial Home in Westfield. She was a licensed Funeral Director and an active member of the National Funeral Directors Association, the New Jersey State Funeral Directors Association, and the Middlesex Somerset Funeral Directors Association.

Deeply rooted in the local community, Ms. Skrabal is a former facilitator with Imagine, a Trustee at Plainfield Country Club, and an Elder at Crescent Avenue Presbyterian Church in Plainfield.
