LINDEN, NJ — A late-night motorcycle crash in Linden left one person dead and two others injured, according to police.
The crash happened around 11:40 p.m. Tuesday on West Edgar Road. Police said two motorcycles — a 2009 Suzuki and a 2009 Kawasaki — were traveling north when they crashed.
According to police, the impact pushed the Suzuki into southbound traffic, where it then crashed into a 2025 Mazda CX-5.
The rider of the Suzuki, a 32-year-old man from Perth Amboy, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
The second motorcyclist and the driver of the Mazda were both taken to Newark University Hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening, according to police.
