Police Asking For Help Finding Owner Of Lost Cat In Westfield

WESTFIELD, NJ — Police in Westfield are asking for the public’s help in identifying the owner of a cat found in town.

According to the Westfield Police Department, officers recently located a friendly cat that was found without a collar and did not have a microchip.

“Anyone recognize this adorable and friendly kitty?” the department said in a social media post. “We were unable to get a chip reading-no collar. If this is your kitty or you know who it belongs to please contact us.”

Police are asking anyone who recognizes the cat or has information about its owner to reach out to the department.
