WESTFIELD, NJ — A new restaurant has opened in Westfield, with Thai Society Supper Club holding its grand opening Aug. 10 at 321 South Ave. W.
The restaurant is located in the former Splash of Thai space, Mayor Jeremy Berman said.
"Congratulations to Thai Society Supper Club on their recent opening!" Berman said. "They offer both dine-in and take-out options in a newly remodeled space."
Thai Society describes the restaurant as a place built around "culture, connection, and the vibrant spirit of Thailand."
According to the business description, the concept was created to blend modern dining with authentic Thai cooking and to offer a place where people can gather, celebrate and spend time over shared food.
The menu is rooted in family recipes and traditional Thai flavors passed down through generations, according to the business.
Thai Society also says it uses fresh ingredients, bold spices and balanced flavors in dishes designed to be shared.
The restaurant description also points to the setting as part of the experience.
According to the business, Thai Society blends contemporary design with Thai hospitality, with details that include warm lighting, rich textures, curated interiors and cuisine centered on depth and tradition.
Thai Society says the space is meant to serve a range of occasions, from casual dinners to special celebrations and nights out with friends.
The business describes the restaurant as "more than a restaurant" and says it aims to create an atmosphere that is "intimate, social, and unforgettable."
