WESTFIELD, NJ — A breakfast panel bringing together six Union County mayors is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 28, at Echo Lake Country Club in Westfield.
The event is set to run from 8 to 10 a.m. at 515 Springfield Ave., Westfield, and will begin with a continental breakfast and networking with local business owners.
The discussion will include Clark Mayor Angel Albanese, Westfield Mayor Jeremy Berman, Garwood Mayor Jen Blumenstock, Scotch Plains Mayor Josh Losardo, Mountainside Mayor Paul Mirabelli and Fanwood Mayor Colleen Mahr.
The program is described as a chance for attendees to hear from local leaders on issues affecting their communities and constituents.
Topics listed include economic development, local budgets, upcoming community projects and the local business climate.
The event announcement states that it is intended to give attendees a face-to-face opportunity with the mayor of their town and offer insight into issues and initiatives shaping the participating communities.
The program is also expected to include an open question-and-answer session.
Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions, share concerns and speak directly with the mayors about issues that matter to them, their businesses and their communities.
