Apply for Tropical Storm Ida Relief Before December 6.

Union County residents impacted by Tropical Storm Ida can apply for FEMA relief until Monday, December 6.

The Union County Board of County Commissioners advises residents impacted by Tropical Storm Ida that the deadline for applying for individual assistance through the Federal Emergency Management Agency is Monday, December 6.

Federal disaster assistance for individuals and families can include money for rent, essential home repairs, personal property losses, and other serious disaster-related needs not covered by insurance.

The temporary FEMA in-person assistance offices in Union County have closed, but residents can still apply for disaster assistance online at DisasterAssistance.gov, or use the FEMA app.

Residents needing additional help can call the FEMA Helpline at 800-621-3362 (TTY 800-462-7585).
