Be a “Green” Volunteer with the Master Tree Stewards

Union County's many trees help create a healthier environment in urban and suburban areas.

Union County residents are invited to join the Master Tree Stewards, a volunteer group with a mission of helping children and adults learn about the importance of trees in suburban and urban neighborhoods.

No experience with trees – or teaching – is required.

Master Tree Stewards are trained and guided by experienced staff of the Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Union County, with support from the Freeholder Board.
