Boutique 3 Opens on Quimby Street

Personal trainer and interior designer Kimberly Heusler wants every woman to feel beautiful inside and out.

Westfield resident Kimberley Heusler is combining her longtime love of personal training, nutrition, interior design, and fashion in her new venture Boutique 3, located on the second floor of 100 Quimby Street.

The concept is something the mother of two said she has been thinking about for some time.

Following what she described as a difficult divorce, Heusler felt inspired to create a space where women could get away from it all.

"It's more than just a gym," Heusler said of the colorful, two-room studio that boasts a treadmill, weights and other exercise equipment. "It's a place for women to come and feel good inside and out."

The trainer, who cycles, runs and practices martial arts, said she had a vision and wanted to design a different workout experience where women can come and focus on themselves with no distractions.

Heusler also looks forward to offering nutritional guidance and meal planning as well. Before moving to Westfield a decade ago, Heusler lived in Hong Kong. While abroad, she completed cooking classes in Thailand. Though she is not a dietitian, Heusler said she wants to help women explore their likes and dislikes to create healthy and fun meal options for her clients.

Another facet of her business that Heusler is excited and passionate about is introducing sports conditioning for teen and pre-teen girls. She believes that with proper training these girls will be able to perform better at the sports and activities that they enjoy, which will not only improve their physical strength but also their self-esteem.

The entrepreneur said she anticipates putting together a newsletter for clients which will include recipes, training tips and the latest trends in design and fashion ideas.

Boutique 3 will be open for business Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and at other times by appointment.

The trainer also plans to hire a yoga instructor to instruct private and semi-private sessions.

Heusler is currently offering a free session to anyone who purchases three $65-an hour sessions. The hours can be "mix-and-match," she said, for any combination of personal training, nutritional guidance or design expertise.

Heusler will also travel to clients' homes to assess their wardrobe.

"We'll see what you haven't worn in three years and get a feel for your own personal style and see what would look great together," she said.

Boutique 3 celebrated a soft opening on Thursday, April 19 during the Downtown Westfield Corporation's . Partnering with other local merchants is a top priority for Heusler who said she makes it a point to support other Westfield businesses by only shopping locally.

During the event, Boutique 3 held a raffle in conjunction with other business owners including , , Gigi's Cupcakes and

Heusler said she hopes to host additional parties in the future. She has recently has teamed up with Lord & Taylor and is excited about organizing a Chanel makeup event.
