Acquaviva Restaurant in Westfield, NJ is “The Perfect Date Spot”!

It's the perfect date spot! Acquaviva is an Italian restaurant with some French inspiration, with food that focuses on the simple and natural.

Since its opening in 1999, it has become a community favorite in the heart of downtown Westfield, NJ, complementing its impressively calming, charming décor with an antique clock on the wall that once graced 28 Rue Murillo in Paris. 

I had the pleasure of a meal here recently and I can tell you it was absolutely delicious!! The calamari was indeed crispy and light, with tons of flavor. A classic Caesar salad - which is one of my favorite things to eat - did not disappoint me. Yum! My entree was the beef short ribs and I if I could have licked my plate clean, I would have. My companion had an equally impressive meal and we were both left feeling satisfied and full and with the knowledge we'd be happy to dine here again.

Owner Mick Gjevukaj is always happy to welcome back regulars, and loves impressing first-timers, as well. After this stellar dining experience, I look forward to dining in Mick's other restaurant, The River Grille, someday. The restaurant can accommodate private parties of all sizes, and features two main dining rooms, a bar and lounge area, a spacious private dining room, and a beautiful outdoor patio when the season and weather permits. 

Located at 115 Elm Street, it is conveniently located very near both street and lot parking. The food and service were outstanding, and they feature a full wine menu.  Be sure to not skip the appetizer course - the Meditteranean Meatballs were super moist and very tasty!
