Brush Fire On I-78 Burns About 2 Acres Of Land In Union County
The fire ignited on Sunday night in Union County.
UNION, NJ — A brush fire ignited on Sunday night, burning about two acres of land along Interstate 78, according to unioncountyfirebuffs.
On Nov, 17 at around 5:35 p.m., the Union Fire Department was called to I-78 East local lanes in between mile markers 50 and 51 for a brush fire.
New Jersey State Police and firefighters confirmed a heavy working fire.

Fire departments from Springfield, Summit, Millburn, and Linden all came to help extinguish the fire.
The fire burnt out an acre or two. No injuries were reported.
