Union County Torah Center–Chabad Announces Community-Wide Lag B’Omer Family Celebration in Westfield
Westfield, NJ — The Union County Torah Center–Chabad is inviting the community to come together for a lively and meaningful Lag B’Omer Family Celebration on Tuesday, May 5, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at its center located at 111 Laurel Place in Westfield.
Lag B’Omer, a day that celebrates Jewish unity, joy, and resilience, will be marked with an event designed for families of all ages. The event will feature a wide range of attractions, creating a warm and festive atmosphere where community members can relax, connect, and celebrate together.
Children and families will enjoy a moon-bounce, interactive sports and games provided by Throwback Sports, Magic Maurice featuring magic and balloon entertainment. The event will also include classic outdoor favorites such as a hot dog BBQ, sno-cones, and a traditional bonfire with marshmallow roasting, capturing the spirit of Lag B’Omer.
“This is a day about bringing people together,” said organizers at the Union County Torah Center–Chabad. “Lag B’Omer has always been a time of joy and unity, and we’re excited to create an experience where families can feel that energy in a real and meaningful way.”
