We are honored to showcase the artwork of Julie Harris, as she presents Measured Tenderness, a captivating exhibition where light becomes the artist's primary creative medium. Using innovative light-based printmaking techniques, including SolarFast exposure, photograms, and layered digital negatives, Julie Harris transforms antique children's dresses into luminous, evocative images that preserve traces of memory, reveal unseen histories, and explore the delicate balance between care, protection, and control.

Through the direct interaction of light, material, and time, Julie Harris creates compelling works where every fold, stitch, and impression becomes part of the image itself. Her layered compositions reflect on vulnerability, emotional inheritance, and the lasting influence of our earliest experiences, inviting viewers to discover their own connections to memory, identity, and the human body.
