Enjoy a fun, fruitful evening at 2nd annual Friends of Music GALA on Sat, Nov. 7
Come One, Come All! Save the Date! On Saturday, November 7, The Friends of Music at St. Paul’s Church, together with St. Paul's esteemed Music Director Mark Hyczko (above photo), invite you to an elegant evening of music, refreshment and silent auction at the Echo Lake Country Club, 515 Springfield Avenue, Westfield, NJ. The evening begins at 6:00 PM with a cocktail hour, followed by a sumptuous dinner, entertainment, and the silent auction from 7:00 to 10:00 PM.
Tickets are $200 per guest and include an open bar during the cocktail hour, together with an Echo-catered three-course buffet dinner that includes a variety of luscious choices, plus coffee, tea and dessert.
GALA dinner entrés include Short Ribs of Beef Marsala, Chicken Saltimbocca, Seared Salmon, and (especially for our vegetarians) Trofie Pesto Pasta. These plus local organic greens and La Ratté fingerling potatoes.
Please purchase your tickets at the Steeple Concerts website, www.steepleconcerts.org, where you can also learn more about this bountiful event. All proceeds support the Steeple Concerts series at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church (Westfield) – now in its 8th season -- sponsored by the Friends of Music at St. Paul’s.
You can also donate items or services to the silent auction. Maybe you have a vintage item or painting that no longer suits your taste or your lifestyle but nevertheless has value. Feel free to donate this item to the silent auction by Thursday, November 5. Last year’s auction, for example, featured an LL Bean vintage lady’s bicycle. Or maybe you are a dog walker, a personal chef, a local business, or the like. You can widen your presence and strengthen your brand in our community by donating your service. The GALA’s musical offering on November 7 (a mini concert!) will, no doubt, exceed all expectations. FOM at St. Paul’s have engaged a world-class ensemble, Lyrica Chamber Music (HQ Chatham, NJ), to entertain you during the GALA. Lyrica brings musicians of national and international stature to perform in an intimate, local and welcoming setting. On GALA night, they will offer a mix of chamber music pieces in a variety of styles. In addition to a more traditional classical repertoire, the group’s programs include jazz, folk, and ethnic influences. See you at the GALA!
