Car Crashes Into Westfield Hair & Beauty Salon
Westfield Police and Fire Departments responded to the crash on Thursday.
WESTFIELD, NJ — A car crashed into a Westfield business on Thursday morning.
At around 8:48 a.m., a 72-year-old Kenilworth woman driving a black 2023 Honda CRV hit the rear of the building at 281 E. South Avenue - The West Glam, a hair and beauty salon.
The woman was the only occupant in the vehicle and was not injured, but the crash caused disabling damage to the vehicle, and it penetrated the concrete wall of the building, said Westfield Police Chief Michael Battiloro.

The woman was issued a summons for careless driving.
The Westfield Police and Fire Departments operated at the scene, as did the Town of Westfield’s Construction Official.
