Carlo's Bakery In Westfield Has Closed

The shop, owned by "Cake Boss" Buddy Valastro's bakery, closed its location at 21 E. Broad St. in Westfield on Sunday.

WESTFIELD, NJ — Carlo's Bake Shop located at 21 E. Broad St. in Westfield has closed its doors for good.

The shop, owned by "Cake Boss" Buddy Valastro's bakery, closed on Sunday, a Carlo's employee told Patch Wednesday. Valastro is known for his TLC television show "Cake Boss."

"The decision was made by upper management," the employee said.

The Westfield location's social media pages for Facebook and Twitter are no longer operational.

The shop had baked and sold a variety of cookies, cannoli and elaborate cakes.

Carlo's still has six remaining locations in New Jersey including in Hoboken, Marlton, Morristown, Ridgewood, Red Bank and Willowbrook.
