Contractor Falls 3 Stories Off Westfield Roof
A helicopter was requested to airlift the man to an area hospital but due to weather it could not fly, Westfield Police Chief Wayman said.

WESTFIELD, NJ — A contractor was hospitalized after he fell three stories while working on the roof of a Westfield home on Wednesday afternoon.
The contractor was working on a home on Marion Avenue when he fell at 1:04 p.m. A helicopter was requested to airlift the man to an area hospital but due to weather it could not fly, Westfield Police Chief David Wayman said.
The man was then transported by ambulance to University Hospital.

The identify of the man and extent of his injuries is unknown at this time, Wayman said.
