Heredia began cutting hair at the age of 20 and eventually teamed up with Cory Mathews Perez to work at his locations in Westfield and Cranford. Now the franchise is expanding to Somerville, in Heredia's former backyard.
"Without him, none of this would be possible," said Heredia of his business partner Mathews Perez.

Heredia will head up the Somerville location. This barber shop is a step above the rest as Heredia says they will cater to the gentlemen's experience.
Guests are greeted by a receptionist and every haircut comes with a shampoo wash, a complimentary drink (bourbon, whiskey or water), hot towels, and a hand massage.
The barber shop also offers facials, waxing, and coloring.
"We are bringing the high-end quality experience to Somerville," said Heredia. "It's a whole experience. It's not just like something where you walk in and walk out."
The location is family-friendly and kids' cuts are also offered.
