DACA allows some of those who were brought to the United States as children and grew up there to continue living in the country. Congress has until March 5 to reach an agreement on the program before the 22,000 New Jersey residents who are enrolled in it begin to lose their residency and work protections.

"While the rally is specifically in support of a DACA deal, the group also plans to express their strong opposition to the immigration proposals outlined by President Trump in his State of the Union address. The proposals would separate families by limiting family-based immigration and harm those most in need by ending the visa lottery," VOW stated.
