Decorate Your Westfield House For Halloween And Win Prizes

WESTFIELD, NJ — With summer turning to fall, it’s time for Westfield residents to start getting their Halloween home décor ready. In anticipation of the town’s third annual AddamsFest celebration, the Haunt Your House contest is back!

The contest is open to all Westfield residents and encourages everyone to get in the spirit of the Halloween season to help kick off AddamsFest. Participants must register their homes online between Sept. 14 and Oct. 1.

“Haunt Your House was a tremendous success once again last year, with more than 20 amazing entries throughout Town,” said Councilwoman Dawn Mackey, Chairperson of AddamsFest. “Based on the last two years’ displays, I can’t wait to see what our creative residents have in store for the community this year.”

With bigger expectations come bigger prizes. This year, first place will receive a $250 gift card to The Farmhouse Store; second place will receive a $150 gift card to Mimi & Hill; and third place will receive a $100 gift card to Patricia & Paul.

The official judging period for all participants will run from Oct. 8 through Oct. 31.
