DWIs, Criminal Mischief, Warrant Arrests Reported In Westfield
Westfield Police released its blotter for the past week:
WESTFIELD, NJ — Criminal mischief and arrests for DWI and outstanding warrants were reported recently in Westfield.
Westfield Police Blotter – July 26 to Aug. 1:
On July 26 at 6:36 a.m.: Eric Barlow, 43, Plainfield, was placed under arrest on the strength of an active ATS warrant out of Bridgewater Municipal Court for $750. Westfield Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Barlow's vehicle on W. South Avenue and Summit Avenue and discovered the aforementioned active warrant. Barlow was provided with a new Bridgewater Municipal Court date, multiple traffic summonses, and released from the scene.

On July 27 at 12:12 a.m.: Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop on Mountain Avenue near Walnut Street. Pursuant to an on-scene investigation, Ivan Tsitsuashvili, 57, Westfield, was placed under arrest for DWI. He was taken to Westfield Police Headquarters, processed, and released to a sober adult upon the issuance of summonses.
On July 28 at 8:04 a.m.: Officer Riley was dispatched to the area of 1200 Boulevard on a report of criminal mischief. She was advised by the custodian on scene that when he arrived at the business at 6:30 a.m., he observed damage to the garden, a glass break in the custodian closet, and a ladder leaning on the gate. Suspects are described as two white males wearing dark clothing.

On July 31 at 4:14 a.m.: Amy Sobala, 42, Mountainside, was placed under arrest on the strength of two outstanding confirmed ATS warrants out of Elizabeth Municipal Court, for $750 each for the full bail amount, pursuant to a park check at Brightwood Park. Sobala was taken to Westfield Police Headquarters, where she was processed and released on her own recognizance.
On July 31 at 9:43 p.m.: Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop on East South Avenue and Sussex Street. Pursuant to an on-scene investigation, Bruno Polito, 61, of Westfield, was placed under arrest for DWI. He was taken to Westfield Police Headquarters, processed, and released to a sober adult upon the issuance of summonses.
On Aug. 1 at 8:03 p.m.: Officers arrested Esteban Lizano, 39, of Bound Brook, in the area of Forest Avenue and Seneca Place on the strength of an active no-bail NCIC warrant. Lizano was taken to Westfield Police Headquarters, processed, and taken to the Somerset County Jail, where custody was turned over to Somerset County Sheriff's Officers.
