Early Closures For Union College, Kean University Due To Storm

A state of emergency was issued ahead of the winter storm moving into Union County.

UNION COUNTY, NJ — Both Union College and Kean University are closing early due to the severe storm.

"Due to inclement weather, all [Union College of Union County] campuses will close at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 9," said the college.

Kean University canceled all in-person classes, services and programs at 2:30 p.m.
