Westfield Student Hit By Car In Front Of School Thursday
Breaking: An Edison Intermediate School student was hit by a car Thursday morning while in front of the school.

WESTFIELD, NJ — An Edison Intermediate School student was hit by a car Thursday morning while walking in front of the school.
“There was a medical emergency this morning involving one of our students who attends Edison Intermediate School," Mary Ann McGann, a spokeswoman with the school told Patch. "The student appeared to be doing well after the incident and is being seen by a doctor. We appreciate the quick action taken by Westfield’s first responders.”
Principal Matt Bolton sent a letter to parents in response to accident stating that he was following the crossing guard’s directions when he walked into the crosswalk when it happened, according to tapinto.net.
