Election Day 2016: Westfield Favors Clinton Over Trump
Hillary Clinton received more than 3,000 more votes than Donald Trump
WESTFIELD, NJ — Taking a deeper look at the voter turnout in Westfield it shows that just over half of residents turned up to vote on Election Day.
A total of 14,519 votes were cast out of the 22,690 registered voters in town which equals to 64% voter turnout.
Westfield voters turned down question one regarding casinos with 2,528 yes votes to 10,489 no votes. Yet voters approved both questions two and three. A total of 8,051 voted yes and 4,760 voted no for question two. And 7,485 voted yes and 4,851 voted no for question three.

In the Presidential election, Westfield favored Clinton over Trump.
Clinton received 8,429 votes while Trump got 5,261 followed by Johnson with 374 votes.
