18th Century Gadgets and Gizmos

Take a look at fascinating, long-gone artifacts that were used to perform everyday tasks in a colonial farmhouse.  Program includes a display of objects which are unusual or obscure to us today and a discussion on each one's function.  Children can guess the "mystery item" and win a small prize.  Also included are tours of the musem and a demonstration of authentic 18th century open house cooking, with samples for visitors.
