FREE CONCERT AND ART OPENING

There is a free concert and the celebration of the opening of the art exhibit on 12/1/2011.  The concert features JEAN-MICHEL PILC who was born in 1960 in Paris, and now an American citizen, self-taught, Jean-Michel Pilc
has performed with numerous giants in the music field such as: Roy Haynes, Michael Brecker, Dave
Liebman, Jean Toussaint, Rick Margitza, Martial Solal, Michel Portal, Daniel Humair, Marcus Miller, Kenny
Garrett, Lenny White, Chris Potter, John Abercrombie, Mingus Dynasty & Big Band, Lew Soloff and
Richard Bona. He has also worked with Harry Belafonte, as his musical director and pianist.

The art exhibit is the works of ANNA FELD is a Polish-born artist who has been based in Katonah, NY for the past thirty years. She trained in New York City at the Art Student League and the National Academy of Art
Design under, among others, Serge Hollerbach, and Thomas Fogarty. She has also trained in various workshops, including those of Daniel Green (North Salem, NY) and Everett Raymond Kinstler (New York, NY). Her work has been exhibited in a number of galleries in New York City– The Winwood Gallery, The National Academy Museum and The Cork Gallery at Lincoln
Center, as well as in the Saratoga Gallery in Saratoga Springs, NY and the Flat Iron Gallery in Peekskill, NY. Her painting have also been displayed at group exhibitions, including the Annual Bedford Art Show and the annual art show by the Native Plant Center at the Fine Art Gallery in
Westchester College. Numerous private collectors have acquired her art from The Paint Box Gallery of Bedford Hills, NY, which for the past ten years has exhibited, and currently exhibits, the most extensive collection of her art.
