Holy Trinity Annual Golf Outing

The Home & School Association of Holy Trinity Interparochial School will be hosting its First Annual Golf Outing Monday May 14, 2012, at the Suburban Golf Club in Union, N.J., and we’d love to see you there.

Suburban Golf Club, a private club established in 1896, is one of the oldest clubs in New Jersey. It features a unique design by famed architect A.W. Tillinghast and has been called golf’s “best kept secret in the Tri-State Area.”

Why are we holding this event? We love our school and continue to look for ways to support it. Our school has been named a 2011 Blue Ribbon School of Excellence by the U.S. Department of Education. This is the highest national honor a school can receive. Our students receive an outstanding education, but we can’t rest on our laurels. Technology plays a growing role in the education of young students, preparing them for a dynamic world. But as state technology funding has all but dried up, we need other ways to offset these costs.

Therefore, this premier golf event will help keep the best technology at our students’ fingertips, enabling our faculty to teach the essential skills needed to prepare our students for high school, college and beyond.

What’s in store for you if you join us is a day of golf on this hidden gem of a course. It’s not long (6471), but every hole is different and you will find yourself using all your clubs.  Enjoy a rustic barbecue lunch and a tantalizing buffet dinner, both overlooking the beautiful course.  While you’re golfing, enjoy beer, wine and soda throughout the day.  At the end of the day, perhaps your spouse would like to meet up with you for dinner and our silent auction? We offer that option too.
