This presentation by Ms J Gonzales and Mr M La Place will summarize a feasibility study which examined the entire length of the Morris Canal Historic Distric and identified a potential route for a passive recreational trail along the former Morris Canal. They will provide an overview of the proposed 25-mile bicycle-pedestrian trail and will also discuss complementary initiatives to preserve the history of the Morris Canal throughout other parts of New Jersey.
