Just Bead Yourself Offers Jewelry Camps for Kids

It's not too late to sign-up for summer bead camp. Central Avenue's is offering a range of morning and afternoon camps 

Weekly Sessions are three half-days per week  are offered June 26 thru the last week of August.

Camps include the following: 

Introduction to Jewelry Creation (ages 7-17) Campers will be learning basic beading techniques, crimping, wire wrapping and elements of jewelry design. Students will create beautiful necklaces, bracelets and earrings.  

Wire Jewelry Creations (ages 7 -17) Campers create beautiful jewelry sculpted from wire. Includes wire wrapping stones and sea glass and bending, twisting and hammering copper wire and colored wire into jewelry components to create beautiful, necklaces, bracelets and earrings and wire rings.

Eco-Chic Jewelry (ages 8 - 17)
Campers create jewelry from natural and up-cycled materials.  Campers will create bracelets, necklaces and earrings using newspaper comics,  chip bags, soda tabs, glass, leather, aluminum and gemstone materials.

This class requires an additional materials fee of $15 (for leather, gemstones and metals).

Session Dates and Times (3 Days Tues, Weds & Thurs)

Flexible Weekly Half-Day or Full Day Sessions offered June thru Aug 23rd

The morning session is offered: 9:30 a.m. - 12 p.m.

The afternoon session is offered: 1:30 –4 p.m.

Full day session (3 Days): 9:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. (Please call to inquire about full days)

(Monday - Friday - additional add-on days available upon request)

Mix and Match Sessions (Available on the 1st Day-Tues or 2nd day-Weds)

Single half-day sessions: $49 + tax = $52.43 (plus $5 Material fee if Wire Jewelry or Eco-Chic Jewelry)

Single full-day sessions: $95 + tax = $101.65 (includes Material fee)

Bead with a friend - BONUS  -Get a $5 Gift Certficate for every friend you refer to come to camp with you. 

To receive your gift certificates, please indicate your friend's name on your registration form and request gift certificates on the first day of camp.

This three-day half, or full day camp allows kids between the ages of 6 and 17 as well as adults to create a variety of different jewlery pieces each day. Classes include a various number of techniques and allows campers to work with a number of tools and supplies.
