A local youth hockey organization, Westfield Hockey Club, is holding tryouts for the upcoming 2011/2012 fall/winter season. Tryouts will be held Sunday, May 1 at Union Sports Arena on Rt 22 from 2:30-3:30 and fee is $50 for skaters - no fee for goalies.
Westfield Hockey Club will be rostering travel hockey teams for boys and girls ages 7-10 with intermediate to advanced ice hockey skills. Specifically, we are rostering teams in the Mite and Squirt divisions, including offering unique opportunity for 2003 players to play full-ice games in our Squirt Patriot division.
Home games will be played at nearby Union and Woodbridge rinks and away games within 1 hour of Westfield. The season starts in September and ends in early March. For more information, please visit our web site.
