Exhibit of Miniatures in Westfield

“Moments of Life in Miniature”, with unique holiday season displays, as well as other special life events, will be shown at the Gallery U Boutique located at 439 S. Ave. W., in Westfield, NJ from November 27th through December 28th, 2017.

These miniature displays are all one-of-a-kind as designed by miniature artisan, Ellie Falco. Ms. Falco has gained recognition for miniature displays through her work recreating storybook and historical scenes. Recently she was commissioned by the Morris Museum in Morristown to help highlight the history of New Jersey with a miniature recreation of George Washington’s office at the Ford Mansion, which served as Washington’s winter headquarters during the Revolutionary War, as well as a detailed colonial wig shop. Her room boxes and displays include bringing storybook drawings to life for Eloise, Curious George, Little House on the Prairie, Frozen, the Good Dinosaur, the Lion King and more.

The works on display in Westfield are smaller acrylic cubes with various themes. Besides a number highlighting holiday season, there are also displays related to baby arrivals, weddings, birthdays and more. Additionally, Falco has created a series of hutches for various animals such as dogs, turtles and so forth. There are also a whole line of unicorn items in miniature as well.
