From Expectations to Reality: The New Year at FUMC Westfield

After experiencing the joyous celebrations of Advent and Christmas, we realize that theoretical expectations are only good for a while. January gives us the opportunity to connect the joyful reflections of December with hopeful expectations for the future. Turning these four actions into habits will help you meet the greater expectations God has for you and your family. We invite you to worship with us on Sundays at 10:00 AM as we explore our January worship theme of From Expectations to Reality: 4 Habits for the New Year.

The Maker’s Place Diaper Drive

Throughout the month of January, FUMC Westfield will be collecting diapers for The Maker’s Place in Trenton. The Maker’s Place is a new ministry of United Methodists in Greater New Jersey that is is focused on expressing the wide welcome of God through initiatives centered around food and families. The Diaper Drive will collect diapers of all sizes for infants and children living in poverty. Diapers will be distributed as part of “First Birthday” parties for babies and their families, hosted by The Maker’s Place and Trenton area United Methodist churches.
