Fundraiser to Benefit Westfield Family Who Lost Dad to Lukemia

A fundraising event on March 24 will benefit the Lederman family of Westfield who lost their father Darren to acute myeloid lukemia

Westfield, NJ -- A fundraising event will be held March 24 to benefit the Lederman family of Westfield who recently lost their father Darren to acute myeloid lukemia.

Darren, father to 8 year old Emma and 6 year old Noah, and husband to Stacey Katcher from Westfield was diagnosed with an aggressive form of Acute Myeloid Leukemia on January 23, 2015.

He died on Tuesday, March 15 after undergoing intensive chemotherapy, countless blood transfusions and platelets, and endless trips to the hospital.

To help raise money for the Lederman family, Indigo Art Studios is hosting "Lederman Strong Wellness Workshop" on March 24. An optional guided meditation will be offered at 7 p.m. and exhibits featuring wellness products and services from local providers will be at 7:30 p.m.

Chair massages will also be provided by MyoMaven Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork

Proceeds from Tricky Tray, entry fee (donation suggested), and a percentage of products sold at the event will be given to the Lederman family.
