Missing Girl, 10, Found In Woods In Union County: Prosecutor
The Union County Prosecutor's Office's Special Victims Unit is investigating the situation.

ELIZABETH, NJ — A missing 10 year old girl was found in Elizabeth’s Phil Rizzuto Park Tuesday afternoon, according to Union County Prosecutor’s Office’s Special Victims Unit.
The girl was reported missing shortly after 3 p.m. by a family member and later found in the park shortly after 5 p.m., according to authorities.
The child was transported to a local hospital as a precautionary measure.

"At this time, the investigation is continuing, but there is no known danger to the public," authorities report.
A man reportedly heard a girl yelling near the river bank and police later located a 10-year old girl without pants, according to tapinto.net. Tapinto and RLS Media said the incident is being investigated as a possible sex attack.

Authorities have not confirmed the allegation of a sexual assault, however, the investigation is being handled by the Special Victims Unit, assisted by members of the Union County Police Department, Union County Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Unit, and Elizabeth Police Department.
