Gunshot Fired, People Seen Running In Union County Prompts Investigation

Linden Police Officers reportedly heard the shot that happened behind the CVS on Wood Avenue on Thursday.

LINDEN, NJ — A police investigation was prompted after officers heard a gunshot fired and then saw people running.

On May 31 at 4:50 p.m., Linden Police, who were nearby the CVS on Wood Avenue, reportedly heard a single gunshot and saw several people running from the area, said police.

A single shell casing was found at the scene.
