The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook across New Jersey ahead of heavy rain and frequent storms expected throughout the weekend. The Hazardous Weather Outlook is in place in North Jersey, Central Jersey and South Jersey.

"Showers and thunderstorms mainly this afternoon and tonight will produce heavy rain at times, potentially leading to localized flooding," the National Weather Service said of Saturday.

Then, on Sunday, some showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon will produce "heavy rain at times, potentially leading to localized flooding."
