Heavy Rain Potential Cancels Westfield PBA Car Show & Festival
The festival, set for Saturday, is canceled due to forecasted rain.
WESTFIELD, NJ — Forecasted rain this weekend has caused the 6th Annual Westfield PBA Car Show & Festival to be canceled for this year.
The festival had initially been set to be held on Sept. 23, with a rain date on Sunday, Sept. 24. Both dates were canceled, announced Westfield Police.
Organizers said, "Please be sure to look for us in 2024!"

This weekend, New Jersey is expected to be hit with widespread flooding from heavy rain, damaging wind gusts of up to 60 miles per hour, and even the chance of an isolated tornado.
Between two and three inches of rain are forecast for the entire state.

Saturday: Rain, with thunderstorms also possible after 3 p.m. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. High near 59. Northeast wind around 16 mph, with gusts as high as 37 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90 percent. New rainfall amounts between three quarters and one inch possible.
Saturday Night: Rain and possibly a thunderstorm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. Low around 58. Northeast wind around 17 mph, with gusts as high as 33 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90 percent. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
Sunday: Rain, with thunderstorms also possible after 9 a.m. High near 64. Northeast wind 11 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 34 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90 percent. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.
Sunday Night: Rain likely. Cloudy, with a low around 58. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
