Hershey's Tops Readers' Choice Poll
A loyal customer is now part-owner of the Westfield mainstay.
This week Patch asked readers to select their favorite sub shop and devoured the competition, garnering more than 50 percent of the votes.
Ryan Mann said he began as a customer and then starting working at the deli after college before becoming a co-owner five years ago.
"Hersheys has become a tradition in town," Mann said. "Kids start out coming in when they're young and continue to have lunch here through high school and then come back when they return to Westfield. We're very in-tune with what's going on in town."

While Mike Sbarro and Jerry Lipshitz, with whom Mann partnered, have owned the South Avenue West staple since 1990, the deli has been around since 1969.
Mann said the two most popular subs are the Italian and the Trinidad, which features Swiss cheese, roast beef, turkey, lettuce, tomato and Russian dressing.

In response to Patch's poll, Hershey's customer and Patch reader wrote, "Hershey's forever!"
also reviewed the sub shop: "Hershey's is the BEST. They catered a party for me over the weekend. The food was out of this world. From the eggplant rollatini to the chicken francese to the baked ziti to the chicken fingers. I played the order with Jerry-he was super helpful and very friendly. If you have not tried Hershey's-you don't know what your missing. 10 STARS"
