Holy Trinity Troop 73 attends Catholic Scouting Retreat

Boy Scout Troop 73 from the Archdiocese of Newark camp at Ross Dock Park, Fort Lee, NJ and celebrate mass and faith under GW bridge

Scouts and adult leaders from Westfield's Boy Scout Troop 73 attended the Annual Archdiocese of Newark’s Catholic Scouting Retreat during the weekend of October 18 -20, 2019. Troop 73 and 120 fellow Scouters camped in Ross Dock Park at the base of the Palisades, just north of the George Washington Bridge. During the retreat, Troop 73 completed a hike to the top of the Palisades and a round trip walk across the George Washington Bridge. The scouts also participated in an open air mass on Saturday evening and had the honor of participating in a Eucharistic Adoration, and participation in the Rosary. Troop 73 is sponsored by the Catholic Church of the Holy Trinity in Westfield. Boys interested in joining Troop 73 may contact Scoutmaster Rob Lang @ cowboyflint@gmail.com
