Kean University And Union County College Sign Joint Admissions Agreement
The new agreement allows Union County College graduates who meet Kean's academic standards automatic admission to the university.
UNION, NJ — Kean University and Union County College have signed a joint admissions agreement. This is less than a month after Kean finalized a similar agreement with Middlesex County College.
Union County College graduates who meet Kean’s academic standards will receive automatic admission to the university as part of the agreement.
It was signed by Kean President Dawood Farahi, Ph.D. and Union President Margaret M. McMenamin, Ed.D., on the college’s Cranford campus on Oct. 18.

“This is a great partnership,” said Farahi. “We can make sure that Union County College graduates benefit from everything we have at Kean. We have amazing programs, and this new agreement provides a very smooth transition from Union to Kean.”
Articulation agreements to allow credits to be transferred easily from UCC to Kean have been finalized for the following academic programs:

- BFA Graphic Design-Interactive Advertising
Union County College sends more graduates to Kean University than any other community college. A total of 18 percent of Kean’s transfer students started their education at UCC.
