The business share the hateful letter they received in the mail on April 16.
The letter:
"As a concerned citizen that was about to shop at your site... I noticed the rainbow flag hanging in your window. I have notified all of my girlfriends who in turn have decided to boycott your store. It is not that we despise the flag... it is just we do not want to be associated with crazy left wingers who hate America. We have decided to take our business elsewhere and have blasted your organization all over social media. Sincerely, Citizens of Cranford."
Since then the bakery reported receiving an overwhelming amount of support from the community in the form of calls, message, shares.
"From the news, to every single person who came to support. Even if you tried and couldn’t wait. You supported. The amount of love and respect at this event. Unexplainable! Sorry to our neighbors. We truly didn’t know!" wrote Sweet n' Fancy's owner Amanda on Sunday night. "I will leave you tonight with hearts filled with gratitude, so proud of our supporters for your patience and most of all, love won here."
